All treatment received at Dana-Farber Cancer Center or Brigham & Women's Hospital since July 31, 2014.

May 2014: CT scan in emergency room, diagnosed with diverticulitis after experiencing what I thought was constipation. Sent home with antibiotics.

July 31, 2014: Admitted to BWH after CT scan detected collapsed colon.

August 8, 2014: Sigmoidoscopy performed to fix collapsed colon. Tumor only detected upon surgery (2 CT scans didn't show it). 30 lymph nodes removed, cancer cells found in 10 of them. Diagnosed Stage IIIC. 

August 2014: Fertility Preservation Treatment resulting in four frozen embryos

September 9, 2014: Port-a-cath "installed"

September 12, 2014: First chemotherapy - 5FU with Oxaliplatin

September 27, 2014: Wedding! (a joyful weekend is great treatment!)

October 2014: Began twice weekly acupuncture to soothe neuropathy.

November 28, 2014: Developed full-blown allergy to Oxaliplatin. 

January 2, 2015: Began densensitization treatment with Oxaliplatin.

March 10, 2015: Completed 12th and final round of chemotherapy

April 13, 2015: Declared NED, blood work follow-ups every 3 months

July 2015: Began therapy

July 21, 2015: Port removed

January 19, 2016: 9 month checkup - bloodwork and CT scan. Suspicious, enlarged nodes on scan. Underwent a mammogram, PET scan, and two biopsies.

February 16, 2016: Confirmed cancer's return in 3 lymph nodes behind my abdomen. Stage IV colon cancer.

February 22, 2016: Port "installed"

February 26, 2016: Chemotherapy to begin. 5FU with irinotecan. 

March 11, 2016: Avastin to be added to regimen.

July 31, 2016: Completed 12th round of chemotherapy

August 2016: Chemo break
